He was born in Moscow. In 2009, he graduated from the Choreographic School of the Moscow State Academic Dance Theatre "Gzhel" and was accepted into the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre. In 2013, he graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.
He rehearsed under the guidance of Nikolai Tsiskaridze and Yuri Vladimirov. His current coach is Alexander Vetrov.

- 2014 — The "Soul of Dance" prize from the magazine Ballet (in the "Rising Star" category).
- 2016 — The Oleg Yankovsky "Creative Discovery 2015-2016" award.
- 2017 — Named Dancer of the Year (2016) by the Italian magazine DANZA & DANZA; awarded the prize of the International Choreography Association "Benois de la Danse" for his performance of the role of Solor in the ballet "La Bayadère".
- 2018 — The Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation for Young Cultural Figures.
